Health and Community Service Directory

CESPHN’s Health and Community Service Directory is an online platform that helps community members and health professionals find local health, wellbeing and social support services. The directory supports service navigation, referral pathways and care coordination by providing accessible information about services across central and eastern Sydney.

During 2025-26, more than 62,000 people used the service directory to find health, wellbeing and community support services. The directory grew to more than 1,600 service listings, improving visibility of local services and helping consumers, carers and professionals identify appropriate supports more easily.

The directory also strengthened connections to key government gateway services, including My Aged Care, the National Disability Insurance Scheme and Carer Gateway. Development of a new artificial intelligence-powered search function also progressed and this will   provide more intuitive and targeted search results for users.

Mental Health Service Directory

CESPHN’s Mental Health Services Directory helps GPs, allied health professionals and other referrers identify suitable mental health services across central and eastern Sydney. The directory provides program-level information, including service descriptions, eligibility criteria, referral pathways, contact details and level of care information to support timely and appropriate referrals.

During 2025–26, the Mental Health Services Directory recorded more than 5,200 new users, a 20% increase on the previous reporting period. The directory also maintained a strong base of returning users, supporting ongoing access to service, referral pathway and program information.

Several improvements were made to strengthen user experience and information quality. Pagination was introduced to improve platform performance and navigation as service listings grew. The wait times feature was also redeveloped, replacing a manual update process with an integrated system that improves the accuracy, reliability and timeliness of wait time information while reducing administration for service providers.

A promotional video was also developed as part of a broader campaign to increase awareness and encourage service providers to keep information current.
